Roads Around Mike's Skyranch

We'll be going down for the Baja 500, and thought of staying at Mike's. Has anyone be on, or heard about, the roads around Mike's? How about the roads from there up to Meling Ranch?
We'll earlier be going up to The Outpost, and will report on that.
Thanks

I've heard the road to the south out of Mike's where you turn left when crossing the stream to get to Mike's is in bad shape, motorcycles only now. Also heard they were bull dozing the road up the hill toward El Coyote, probably trying to get the road usuable for the 500.

We stayed at Mkes in March 20th and the road to Rancho El Coyote was graded about a mile up the hll and then the grading ended. There were very large rocks blocking the road and it would only have been passable on a Moto..we all had locked up jeeps and SxS...ended up going all the way back to Valle T and down the Orchard Road that comes out near Colonet and slabed it to Camalu...
