Gonzaga Bay in late May

Can anyone tell me what to expect fishing in Gonzaga Bay the end of May? What types of fish can we expect? Any pangas available to rent? What about fishing from the shore, any hot spots?
Any input is appreciated.

The Pangeros arrive in March and seine the bay during the spawn until about now. That pretty much kills fishing dead, dead, dead!! Then they leave and fishing picks up through the summer and fall. We catch trigger near the island and in the rocks...ditto small yellowtail and cabrilla. There are some groupers out near some big rocks in the middle of the bay but you'll play hell getting them up if you hook one.

You can probably rent a panga and a fisherman where they pull out near the cantina or near Tito's place about two miles south on the beach. Ask.
