Sounds kinda gross as I'm writing this, but you won't believe how good these things are.

We never bought them as they sounded so gross---but then our son brought some down to Baja and they are really good! We were quite surprised.

Another onion idea on the grill --- peel the onion and score it with several cuts across the top, about half way down. Put a fair amount of soy sauce on it and a large pat of butter on the top---best with real butter. Double foil and cook on the grill. Really good.

SIRENA'S PIZZAS

SHARI...WITH JUAN BEING THE TALENTED

Mason that he is, maybe he could build Sirena an outdoor wood-fired Pizza Oven. There's nothing like a good wood-fired pizza!

And you could use it to bake bread and many other things too. I bet some of those Yellowtails and Calico's might taste really good baked in a wood oven.

Here's a cool web site about doing that...

ONE OF MY FAVORITE CAMPFIRE MEALS

Is to take a large Hamburger patty and put it in a double wrapped foil packet with cubed potatoes, and veggies of your choice. Choices can include carrots, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, jalapeno peppers, etc. Seasonings can be anything you like and other liquid seasonings such as Steak sauce, soy sauce, etc can be used if you like.

Place it on a hot grill to cook or place on the side of the coals. Takes about 1/2 hr. to cook.

Really delicious the way all the flavors meld together!!
