Just received my sentri card

Just got my card today. I want to know if anyone has experience crossing San Ysidro by car in the sentri lanes on a weekday morning at rush hour. The sentri lanes usually seem like they are just as backed up as the regular lanes. My experience recently in the regular lanes has been about a 90 minute wait at abut 7 AM. Does anyone know what the sentri lane wait normally is at about the same time?

By the way - Had an awsome memorial day weekend at Alfonsinas. Attended the memorial service for Alfonsinsa and went to the party later that evening. Whale sharks were in the bay and a large humpbacked whale spent all day sunday swimming about 20 feet in front of the hotel. It was absolutely amazing.

The Sentri lanes times vary a lot.

They are estimated to process cars 3 times as fast as the regular lanes. So if they are backed up as much as the regular lanes expect the Sentri lanes to be 1/3 wait.

When I cross on weekday mornings I wait until 8:30 am and the wait is usually 0 - 30 minutes. Its longer at 7:00 am.
