I love the "where am I" posts. I've been a lot of places in Baja and usually know right away where it is.

I don't know where this is but it is a beautiful picture. Is it in Baja?

BINGO! That was a really obtuse "guess where." Great job!

It is the lighthouse at the old salt wharf beyond Guerrero Negro.

Lighthouse

Here's the companion image. The lighthouse is at the end of the road leading to Laguna Guerrero Negro. Jim

A Mexican lighthouse seldom seen by Americans, it's located about 50 feet from the border.

Jim,
We have photos of that lighthouse and have seen it many times, but the light in which you captured it is REALLY special.

We are in Guerrero Negro right now and there is so much more here than many take the time to find.

THANKS

Thanks Diana -- Speaking of Guerrero Negro, if you like bírria, perhaps the best on the peninsula, try walking down 2 blocks from the Malarrimo. It's a little street corner stand, same side of the road as the Malarrimo. Yummy!
