baja in nov!

we are gonna do the month of nov. in baja . down to scorps , cabo and beyond. the 1000 is gonna roll through town, if youve never seen this, or love to surf, or just wanna caravan along we are already 2 vehicles strong. cross the border on the 5th or so returning at the beginning of dec. we are a family group 2 kids 4-6 adults, but all are welcome just bring good vibes. if youve never done it but always wanted to we are open to newbies and anyone who wants to caravan along.
5-7th driving south to san juanico
????????
17th-20th baja 1000
???????? cabo, east cape, cerritos, abreojos, assuncion, the possibilities are only limited by swell and our own imaginations .
feel free to tag along for the drive or the entire trip. baja safety comes in caravan numbers, and november is relatively uncrowded and still gets some pulse from the south. = great family waves...
regards,
bajarasta

Bring your wetsuit, San Juanico is a summertime south swell spot. Nothing beyond Cabo but water. Get a Baja surf guide and you can skip the non surf spots and hit the good ones.

I would love to see how one goes 'beyond Cabo'? Oh, on a surfboard, I guess?

well dave as you know to go beyond cabo you just head east till you naturally turn north again, then at some point near la paz actually , within la paz you can take that ferry over to the mainland and go as north or south as you wish surfboards mounted on top of the truck of course...lol
ohh and thanks for all the hints , but just for the record we are baja vets, and ive been goin since i was 15, im 35 now. actually the water south of asuncion is completely warm in november. trunk weather. the crowds are way down and you still pick up plenty of swells from the 180' to 220' zone. so the long rights of the southern points region aren't a waste of time at all. and with the baja running thru town it can be just enough entertainment to make the lag time between swells not to boring...lol... even if it goes flat for a few days... there is the fishing!!
usually by the time we head back the sisters are crankin and the trip usually is totally surf worthy...
irine--- where exactly are you all? we usually post up in san juanico for the week before thru the week after the race...with kids safe drivin is a must...
baja blanca --- we'd love to drop by if we head north to that area ill keep everyone posted on the forum here...
shari --- great to hear from you and juan, we hope all is well and marteo is still the talk of the town with the girls. we might try to disappear in your area for a bit. san hippilito sounds like a possible stop as well...miss you guys
thanks for all the replies and im stoked to see all the familiar handles pop up here on the forum. im stoked that all of you are warm and well....
peace

irene--
alison jackson. im not really sure. they havent stepped up the advertising yet but will soon. im a long time supporter of paul gallegos but many people up here are expressing discontent with him. i dont actually believe he will loose, because everyone against him is in favor of tightening the reigns on the mmj scene.
so however they hate him they wont let anyone come in and screw up the economy...lol
i believe she used to work for him and is well qualified. but its hard to beat an incumbent. and everyone still doesnt want to go back to a terry farmer style d.a. and with all the people running. all options seem to go in that direction.
i wonder how it'll turn out?
we'll try and stop by for sure either on the way down or back for the turkey day.ill let you know in advance. its probably my 22nd run or so in 15 yrs to baja, and you are right its only about the fun, and that feeling of adventure, mixed with a great escape/vacation type of euphoria.
i hope to meet up with you'all, and ill keep posting on allison to keep you informed as they ramp up the ad campaigns coming up to nov.
bless,
bajarasta
