Punta Chivato Road

The road is VERY bad in one spot after you enter the "new" section. Just past the ranch there is a deep dust hole that has been trapping cars and trucks. There is no way around that area. You can use the old road and avoid that spot however. It is slower and a little longer but solid.

??????

Russ if you think the road out to punta chivato is VERY bad then I suggest you stick to the pavement. I was there recently and the road IS in great shape. Most of the way you can travel at 30 to 40mph. The dust bowl you describe could not stop a yugo. I guess one man's dust and gravel is another man's hell. fishin rich
