Shell Beach 7/28/10am (photos)

Took the "Bubba" down the beach this am to try for some corvina. Not a bite!?
But it sure was worth the effort. It was/is a gorgeous morning.
My Casita

The Casita is the 1st place. I'm shooting from near the runway looking SW

There's an osprey on the cactus

Hotel on the point

super shots.. like the Bubba's tracks all by themselves... and the clouds make a difference.. thanks.. making the coffee even better...

Getting to wet a line.. is good enough.. plus being out there on the "beach".. man.. again thanks.. almost like being there...

like the early morning... too

oh, looks like you have room for that small nuke generator... just need BG to get the plans over...

Anyone notice the nearly full moon in a few of the pics?
I think a lot of the shells are really old but the big storms tend to roll the live stuff into that corner and others down the beach. It'll get really ripe if they aren't gathered up right after the storm. And there are thousands of them so they don't all get carted off. Good bait!

It's the beach that most people associate with Punta Chivato. After you've spent some time here you'll understand why we use Shell Beach. On the maps they'll call it Playa Santa Inez.
Thanks for asking I forget that it confuses many.

Thank you Russ. Is that the place that DK frequents? The place where the tide comes up and you are surrounded by water?
