Fishing trip

We made our trip down to fish at Verdugos {East Cape}. Weather was a great, but really cool. I kept watching the sky for a lightining bolt to strike me down to pay for the cooler weather.

Before I forget, watch out for these guys. They have been on a bicycle trip from Guadalajara to Alaska and are on thier way home through Baja. I found them just outside of Catavina.

Very lonely on the roads, which are in GREAT shape.
No exploring, no real sight seeing, just a fishing trip. I did add my share to the local economy.

Link to the video.

Wonderful video. Especially the section dealing with the squid. I guess you must have gotten into the water to shoot that sequence.

Actually, the best part was Jesse Cook. Never heard of him and now he's on my iTunes.

Very well done. I'm guessing this was not your first time putting something like that together.

I too was impressed with the squid footage. I wouldn't jump in the water with those savages from the deep. A nice East Cape tuna, too.

Hey Udo, at the very bottom is the link to the video.

I would swim with sharks before I would swim with the squid.

We used a Kodak Playsport video recorder on the end of a pole. HD video for around $130.00

Thanks for the comments.

Awesome squid footage! Once we were fishing and there were so many squid around our boat that we offered one of our buddies $100 if he would swim around the boat - he talked big, but in the end declined.......
