Update - Robberies in Rosarito & SAdM
NOTE: I received this update today:
"These people are somewhat sophisticated. They coordinate with each other using lookouts to locate the routing of police and security guards,
apparently using cellular phones. A few of them are Gringos. They have been known to attempt to win confidence in order to obtain information
about a target's daily routine, travel plans, and entry points into the home.
If they are discovered and/or pursued, the first thing they attempt to do is exit the security gate of the campo they are located. Security guards
need to be aware of this possibility, so that they can stop their car at the gate.
If they are on foot, they will exit through the fence seperating homes from a nearby roadway, where an accomplice may be waiting in a car.
If successful in obtaining goods from a home or car, they may stow them alongside a nearby roadway and return later to retrieve the goods. They
sometimes use mochillas (backpacks) to transport items.
Some of these people are drug users and will "amp up" before an attempted break-in in order to achieve a heightened level of physical strength/speed.
Anyone attempting to restrain a person who is under the influence amphetimines should understand that they invariably very strong, quick,
unpredictable, and potentially dangerous."

Robbery vs Burglary
Definition of ROBBERY
: the act or practice of robbing; specifically : larceny from the person or presence of another by violence or threat
Definition of BURGLARY
: the act of breaking and entering a dwelling at night to commit a felony (as theft); broadly : the entering of a building with the intent to commit a
crime
The reports I am receiving involve both kinds of activities.

Well, if the burglars are gone when you return home, you will be swinging strikes
