US Makes Major Philosphical Change Toward Drug War

Speaking at the Council of Foreign Affairs in Washinton on Wednesday, Secretary of State Clinton asserted that the drug cartels appear to be morphing into something akin of an insurgency.

"MEXICO CITY — The third Mexican mayor in a month was slain by suspected drug gang hitmen on the same day the U.S. secretary of state raised hackles in Mexico by saying the country is "looking more and more like Colombia looked 20 years ago."

"Hillary Rodham Clinton and other U.S. officials pointed to Mexican drug cartels' use of three car bombs, a tool once favored by cartel-allied rebels in Colombia, as evidence that the gangs "are now showing more and more indices of insurgency."

"More worrisome to Mexican legislators, Clinton suggested the United States was looking to implement some type of Plan Colombia for Mexico and Central America, referring to a U.S. anti-drug program in which American special forces teams trained Colombian troops and U.S. advisers are attached to Colombian military units."

Mexico reacted swiftly in rejecting any notion that a Colombia model would ever be accepted by them.

See that she got thrown under the bus by her boss ...... Silly girl, how could one compare the Colombian Drug Cartels to Mexican Drug Cartels ... that was 20 years ago ... hell, way back then they were using bow and arrows, plus what would SHE know about it, her old man was only the President in 1993.... and from Wiki "By 1993, the Colombian government, helped by the US, had successfully dismantled the cartel by imprisoning,or hunting and gunning down its members." ...:lol:

Think Hillary Clinton is about as tough a politician as Lyndon B. Johnson ... man can she take it.... Wow... might have been wrong about her .... Plus saw on U-Tube where she farted in one of those "debates" on live TV.... nothing stops this lady.... nothing..

She has just achieved my "you talking to me" on the forehead this morning .... way to go Hillary !!... you got some kind of Boss there .... much like your skunk of an old man :):)
