Bus roll over La Rumorosa


(Several injured in Mexican bus crash)….The bus was coming down La Rumorosa Wednesday night.

La Rumorosa is the mountainous area between Mexicali and Tijuana. Officials say the bus was coming down the Highway at just before 11:00 pm. There are not a lot of details available. Officials say the bus went out of control and rolled at Kilometer 58. It is reported 14 passengers were injured, four seriously. Ambulances from both Mexicali and Tijuana responded. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

Dang---sounds bad, I hope the injured recover!!

That is one steep grade.

It seems like at least twice a year we hear of such an accident on the same grade. You think that someone might get it by now? Check brakes...slow the flock down? :rolleyes:

Don't be silly....the next bus going down had to go even FASTER because they were behind schedule from the accident.:o
