BAJA HIGHS & LOWS


SAN FRANCISCO TO LORETO & BACK IN TUNDRA 5.7L 4X4.

Ensenada
High Point- On a Monday no Gringos in town & El Cid Hotel is empty
Low Point- Hussong's is closed

Cataviņa
High point- It's there
Low point-Why cant they find my reservation (Desert Inn)

BOLA
High point- Riding a whale shark
Low point-Can't climb back into Enrique Daggett's boat.

San Ignacio
High point- Dinner at La Mission De Kadakaaman on the plaza (scallops??)
Low Point-Why can't they find my reservation (Desert Inn)

Mulege
Hight Point-Having a beer with Bob at Playa Frambes (thanks Bob)
Low Point- My favorite palapa at Santispac on the lagoon has washed away

Loreto
Hight point- Meeting Brenda at Mikes
Low Point- Why can't they find my reservation (guess)


Road
High Point- South of El Rosario-new and wider
Low Point- Road to San Javier cut by slide. Also much construction south of Ensenada.

Also
High Point- Got drunk with two guys biking to South America on big BMW's
Low Point- Cheated at Pemex across from Desert Inn in Ensenada

I am off to China in two weeks, and after that Maui for a while.
