girl needs ride to TJ from GN

from Flying Sams:

Are you the one?
We need a pilot with at least a 4 place plane to fly to Guerrero Negro on October 22 (Friday), pick up two or three passengers, and take them to Tijuana. As overly dramatic as it sounds, this may be the last chance for this little girl with Spina Bifida.
Vianey is a 13 year old girl with Spina Bifida that needs to see the Shriners in Tijuana for evaluation. If she is accepted by the Shriners for treatment, she will later go to the US for surgery. The screenings for this surgery are held infrequently in Tijuana, (I believe every 6 months) and once a child grows beyond a certain point, the Shriners can no longer treat them.
Please send me an email ASAP if you are able to assist in this. The patients will have money to help with their share of the fuel.

i hear she got a ride, several responded on BBP, a pilot from Yuma area and one from Reno so she is probably in like flint.

we had another girl with Blount's disease from Constitucion we phx Sams took to Nogales and on to the shriners childrens hospital in Salt Lake city.
i picked her and her mother up and took them on a trip a few years ago - brave little girl, she needed about a dozen trips over 3 years and now is doing well. the most rewarding flights you can imagine.
