I have always loved the Punta Chivato/Santa Inez area. Camping has been on again/off again, there is a Nomad Russ who lives in the area and could
advise you. Good light tackle shore fishing from the lighthouse point at dawn and dusk, good snorkeling at the lighthouse point and the bay north of
the campground. Good fishing at the near shore islands, although Pescador can probably put you on bigger fish at San Marcos island.
The road into Punta Chivato has traditionally been rough but passable.

all over 30 lbs, with some small ones mixed in for fun, but by Thanksgiving, the big boys should be kickin butt.
I can think of a couple of places where you can stay, but let me know when you are coming down and we will see what we can set up.

Great to hear the big yellows are visiting you. Have fun and keep on smilin.

Have you been as far as Loreto ? It is wonderful just to walk around and relax .... then you could take a day trip up to the mountains and visit the
church up there - it is amazing and the name escapes me right now (maybe san javier ?? san joaquin ??). It is an oasis and just incredible .. a church
that defies the height and truuble it must have been to haul all the building material up !!

I've been to Loreto several times but I prefer let "Touristy" areas.........I'm leaning towards San Bruno it looks like my kind of place!!!!!!!!
I'm just trying to decide if I want to tow my boat or not......Being that I will want to do so much exploring the boat could be a
hinderance.......Maybe I'll be able to hitch a ride!!!! Fuel of course covered by myself. Also I'd return the favor for a ride on my 25ft boat in La
Bocana.
So far my plan is
Night 1 GN
Night 2 Serindad for the Pig Roast
Nights 3-5 San Bruno
Nights 6-8 La Bocana BCS

if you think you can push on further than GN for the first night, you might consider san ignacio - the garden rooms at Casa Leree, plus Juanita's old
photographs and all her antiquities in the house/museum are a real treat ....

Hi Linda.....Roger may be a bit busy right now. He's probably on his way to the Big City to buy co-pilot a Boxer.
