When Do Pit Crews Start To Arrive In San Felipe For This Yrs 1000?

This yrs 1000 goes thru the San Felipe area,
begins in Ensenada the morn of Thurs Nov 18,
planning a trip to SF this Thurs 11.
Should I expect to see crews setting uo around
Tues the 16th? or do they come in any earlier?
Trying to avoid the race crowds, I'm not
familiar with how big a crowd the race
will attract to SF
thanks for your time

It will be huge... You should find a place south of town (like the sulfur mine) and enjoy the action. Our son is pitting for Team TSCO (3 trophy trucks) and will be going down the 17th to set up the pit south of town. Expect action all day Thursday.

Oh, and top you gas tank before the crowds arrive so you will have enough to get to Mexicali when you want to leave.
