In Asuncion there is an Internet Cafe on the main street, and there is one computer at the TelCel office that usually works. Computers are much better at the Internet Cafe.

Also, Jose Luis at the Internet Cafe can set you up with wireless for the time you are there. His business is listed on the Business Page of the Bahia Asuncion Community Website --- he also sells fishing tackle and if you do not speak Spanish, no problem as he speaks English.

Banda Ancha works there, but it is only a 2G tower so the speed is like the old dial-up.

On Edit---if you are headed that way, just a word of caution. Some of the bad potholes on the road from Vizcaino to the turn-off to Bahia Asuncion are beginning to reappear in the area not too far out of Vizcaino, just past the ejido. Some of the repairs are not holding up very well, including some of the work on the sides.

It certainly is not like it was a while back, but do be careful and keep your eyes open.
