Desert Inn San Quintin?
Desert Inn no longer lists the hotel in San Quintin. Anybody know what is up?

Was bought by the people that own the Los Pinos agg company. Renamed Hotel Mission Santa Maria. Open and operating. Rates are about 1/2 of what Desert
Inn was charging.

Although seapeople didn't appear to be asking for recommendations, I agree with what you say about Jardines. Not to mention that Carmen, Guillermo and
staff are wonderful folks. However, since they have a small number of rooms, one should reserve in advance lest they be disappointed.

and another good choice......
Just as you leave town going south on the left, and just before the bridge, is Villas de San Quintin. And because of the restaurant is also a good
reasin to stay there. DSL and lots of hot water. For no extra charge the restaurant delivers to your room on full restaurant dining ware. Strict no
smoke and pet policy. The grilled chicken caesar salad is a real winner with the Italian chef, as are the mushroom reviolis
Things are expensive, but at least we get a free trip around the sun once a year

OK on the restaurant, but prefer Maria Celeste next door. But, were not you the one that recently posted on the new hotel just a bit North of there?
