Something to tell our Baja natives
Monday 22 November
Today the Government of Mexico issued an advisory to migrants working in the United States who are planning to return to their families for the
Christmas holidays to travel in convoys on the Mexican highways and to travel only during daylight hours. The Interior Ministry (SEGOB) is considering
using the army to provide escorts to such convoys on the most dangerous highways. Migrants are often targeted by criminal gangs because they are
bringing back money, gifts and new cars to their relatives.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

A lot of them are legal US citizens and residents -
Often around Christmas they move most of the soldiers from the checkpoint at El Chinero - (Hghy 5 and Hghy 3) - often looking like it's completely
shut down and not stopping any cars.
