As Seen in Baja

‘Global warming’ has become the grand political narrative of the age, replacing Marxism as a dominant force for controlling liberty and human choices.

Time was, people warning the world \"Repent - the end is nigh!\" were snickered at as fruitcakes.

That Hippie Bus is NOT a Hippie Bus...it's name is..or was...Tortuga Verde and it was the normal wheels for Jimmy Sullivan who was "mayor of Alfonsina's for years and years before he had a stroke and moved over to Papa's....he's currently in a nursing home in Tacoma.

Jimmy was the most un hippy guy you could ever imagine.

I think of trying to pass it on a mountain road.

BTW: I was one of the first hippies back before the term was invented. I hung out in a campus coffee house called The Turk's Head..full of "beatnicks."

We'll I was KINDA one of them...I had a crew cut and pressed chinos...I only hung out there because I lived in the apartment up the stairs.

VW bus... what do I think of? I think of dead heads in the slow lane, hopefully there in the slow lane. By the way, a joke; what do dead heads listen to when they're not high? answer...bad music!

When did Mama add a counter and have ketchup and mustard on the tables??? Have you been there since the remodel and management change... things used to be bad and expensive... but not the past couple of years. Where's ELINVESTI8R to comment?

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.
