Magic Jack

Dear Techies-

I live in Elias Calles and last summer we got a Telmex tower and cell phone reception. I bought an air card and my internet worked pretty well. So my question is, does anyone know if Magic Jack works with an air card connection? thx....

It works with DSL. Is what you have DSL?

Welcome to BajaNomad, by the way.

I know it works with The telcel 3G card

Is that what you mean by an air card. Many of the people at Cielito Lindo use the magicjack with those cards, I also know people in Baja Mar that use the 3G and Magicjack together . Welcome to Nomads.k:yes:

Magic Jack use with an air card

Thanks for the reply. The "air card" is actually a thumb drive like device that plugs into a USB port on my laptop and receives the cell signal. Not sure how it works but there is no hard wire, land line connection so I guess it works like a cell phone. I guess I'll just have to try it during Christmas when I'm down there and hope for the best.

Cheers...jack
