Really nice video that captures the true vibe of a Baja bike trip! Was there gas available in San Francisquito?

I think you probably could find gas there but would not bet the farm on it. Our KLR650s made it all the way from BLA to San Francisquito and on to GN before a fill up. Be prepared and have a great trip.

This is a very inspiring trip report. I must do this at some time in my life. How did the solo part of the trip feel to you? Sometimes I feel less lonely when I have a traveling companion, but the travels that really, really stick out in my memory are the ones where I was alone. It's almost surreal sometimes to travel so many miles away from anyone.

Pack,
I thoroughly enjoyed the solitude, even riding in the pitch black nights. There is a surreal effect when you push yourself away from your comfort zone. My best memories were far from any comfort zone. Life is short huh?
