Kate thanks== Mcfez== where off the Malencon? Someone said close to Cafe Milano but I couldn't find it. Dennis since you won't be present when I smoke and only those who chose to smoke with me also enjoy my enjoyment don't worry and my brands don't resemble anything you describe== it's not something you could appreciate. capitolkat how about just ordering them from an internet site like Thompson or Showmeyourash? I use both of them all the time and they are very reliable and have a huge selection.

Ken how does that work? I have usually bought from Cigars International. How do they get here-through customs? I have a US mailing address that gets shipped to Cabo and I go down every few weeks to pick it up- can they just send them with no worries about the duty? Thanks-- Norm

Not sure Norm, I've only had them shipped to the US. Perhaps you can just aske them how Mexico is handled. I use Thompson most often, here's their website address:

Norm I found an FAQ about international shipping on the Thompson website: http://www.thompsoncigar.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?pageName=...
Looks like they don't ship to Mexico. Sorry for the false alarm.

I just checked Showmeyourash, they also don't ship internationally. Guess this was a bad idea, sorry :) I'm gonna pour a glass of wine, light up a Fuente Hemingway Classic, and be quiet for awhile.

The good news-- City Club does have cigars. The badnews- all cubans and very expensive. they have my favorite- Montechristo NO 2, but at 595 pesos for three its a little pricy for me. Other in the case are similarly priced. So I was in Cabo yesterday and stopped by my favorite cigar bar - Hemingways- also known as J&J cigars- and looked for something more reasonable. 20% discount on boxes- but still stratospheric on good cubans but they did have a special house cigar called Hemingways from Mexico. I have had some good Mexicans so tried one and then bought a box. 967 pesos for 25 so compare that to the three Montechristos at City Club. In any case in January I'll be picking up some Olivias and CAOs in Phoenix to last me through the summer as I can't afford the cubans. Norm
