Stay at Baja Joes http://www.bajajoe.com or Casa Verde http://www.bajmahal.com in La Ventana - they're the closest lodging to Los Muertos.
Tailhunter fishes out of Muertos but if you call Joes, they will have the contacts for the locals.

Hola dtutko1,

we have been using juan carlos and his father wicho for a couple of years now and have been very satisfied and we drive there from los barriles, the east cape.

they have an older center console super panga with a honda 90 and an older tiller panga with a honda 50 and are extremely punctual, service oriented and reliable.

during windy times, they launch out of muertos bay and when it's not windy, las arenas by the lighthouse.

as we book them directly and make the drive from los barriles, we save over $ 100.00 per boat but they do not provide lunches, ice or transportation. as we all have our own equipment, i am not aware if they can provide fishing equipment. fish cleaning is provided but you need to bring your own ziplocs.

both speak limited english but they do speak " fishing " with the emphasis on " catching ".

JUAN CARLOS…045-612-103-9244
WICHO............045-612-102-0993

if you decide to use their services, tell them " JAMES " gave you their info as we have a very good rapport with them and they will give you the best service.

any questions, U2U me.

BIEN SALUD, DA RAT

Lots of good fishermen there. Pangas on the beach. You could do well asking around. We did very well there on Dorado and the price was reasonable. Good restaurant overlooking bay.
