We got some, not a lot, throughout the night. At this moment, it's beautiful.

We left El Rosario yesterday afternoon and arrived in San Diego last night. The rain on the way back started at about 8pm when we were in Ensenada.
It appeared there'd been no significant rain south of Ensenada for a few days, maybe a week (?).
On December 26th, while driving south, it appeared there'd been significant rain in the days prior almost as far south as Cataviña.

December 22nd and 23rd rained hard as far as Guerrero Negro. Minor flooding in the low lands. Not sure since then. There is probably a lot of wet mud
still though.

I would have never thought that I would miss the rain, but after almost 3 months without any, I would love the feel and smell of some rain in this
dusty neck of the desert.
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

It must have been restricted to along the coast. On Christmas day, my daughter and I hiked out to Tinaja Yubay, north of the road to BOLA, and the
water level was quite low and we didn't see signs of recent rains. Man, I sure wish these rains would blanket the southern peninsula, we could sure
use them!
