My Canada honkers have much bigger drumsticks...but are not nearly as tasty as your quail. ;)

Valley Quail are by far the best table fare in the hunting world! I serve them many ways. Usually as an appetizer but there is a meal in 3 or 4. Sweet White meat just spit out the pellets though...

Funny story actually, she was about a 98 pound gal shooting all kinds of high powered guns and assault rifles. Her gentleman friend cameup after she asked me for help clearing one of her rifles. I don't think he liked sitting in the car and watching all of the range guys slobbering!:o

To answer your question it was a semi-auto but there are legal full autos in the area
