Smartly Bailing

I Have to agree with the Canuckial on the Ex.

It was SMART of her to Bail and Trek Back to Peachy Cracker Land since it was just ahead of the law.

Worked out well for all concerned (including favorable Divorce Terms) resulting in there not being a Chance that she'd ever set foot in California again.

Worked out well for Georgia, too. Or, at least, a HUGE segment of the Male Population in that area. Having developed an appetite for Lustful variety, she managed to embarrass and alienate both sons attempting to set a record in that respect with FOUR subsequent marriages and Dozens (or Hundreds ?) who didn't make it to the altar. The most notable of which was occasion for her departure (for years) from the small mill-town where she was born having been caught unclothed and "in flagrante delicto" in a room at church with a Married Deacon.

Interestingly, THAT event which resulted in their being expelled from the church and his Divorce, also resulted in a marriage between them that has endured now for 25-years or so. Of course, it's hard to say from such a distance how good that marriage is since he's said to be in worse health from Heart-Disease and Emphysema than she is with her Diabetes and Wheelchair. Another result of that transgression was her turning to Jesus with the determination often seen in Alcoholics and other Sinners.

So much so that it has been difficult to keep up on her ills. I'm always hoping to hear that they've begun cutting pieces off her as a result of the Diabetes. I'd hate for it to happen and not be able to practice appropriate Schadenfreude.

Talking to the youngest son over the Holidays, I asked "How's your Mom doing" and the reply was "OK, I guess. I haven't talked to her in months and probably won't since she starts into all that Religion Crap everytime I do".

It's a somewhat Dysfunctional Family Life.

She's so screwed up, she could easily be mistaken for a Canuckian.

To me , the key issue is if tourists are indeed being "targeted" , as the victim from the RV camp has indicated. It is one thing to be a tourist somewhere that is unfortunately caught up in a shooting that would have occurred with or without them being there , and actually being the primary target. Regarding Canadians , I find them to be very nice people and fun to camp with and throw back a few beers with. The ones I have surfed with show good surf ediquette. too. {I give up on the spelling}

sounds like a lot of butt hurt Mr. Bill. It's pretty f-ing easy to sit on an internet site and slander your wife, but it show real character to resist that impulse, or to resist bulling others into seeing it "your way." But you wouldn't have a clue what that means, so why am I even typing?

Schadenfreude not Slander

The ultimate defense against Slander, of course, is TRUTH and I could prove everything I've ever said about the Georgian Blimp-Witch.

And, as far as avoiding the temptation to dump on the Crone, we aren't anywhere near even yet. And, never will be.

After all, I NEVER tried to Kill her.

I do regret not making the attempt, though. It would only have been fair.

There are probably a few times over the years when the Boys wished I had before she carted them off to Crackerville.

Speaking of Dysfunctional, a few years back the Youngest called to describe what he thought was a truly ODD event. His mother had sent him a box of photos from childhood days that she'd "Just" found and he said "you weren't in any of them". "What's odd about that" I asked ? "Well, You WERE in almost all of them, but she'd taken scissors and CAREFULLY trimmed you out of every one".

Thirty-Some Years Later ?

Laughed my Buns off over that one. At least we share a common bond of Hatred.

And, sent her a Card with a photo "In case you've run out".

Credit where Credit's Due

She WAS a GREAT Shag. When you meet the rare gal who is that enthusiastic and creative, you're pretty much doomed. A friend once (well, a LOT more than once) questioned why we were getting married because he'd never seen us go through a day without an argument.

DUH !

And, no doubt, there are a hundred or more guys besides myself who could attest to that. Some of them on the same night as each other from what my Son has said.

That was quite a few years back, 200 lbs less and no Wheelchair, of course.

Probably the one thing we share still is the fervent hope that the other will Drop Dead first. I'm sure if she was in the throes of Terminal Cancer on a Morphine Drip on the Last Night, she'd have a Blissful moment knowing that I was Dead.

I know that's how I'll feel about her. But, for now, her continued agony is reward in itself.

I'm proud to say that the "I Hate MrBill" Club has a Huge (and still growing) membership so she's in Bad Company with many. Wish I could get a Buck a year in membership fees. I could buy that '65 Mustang.

To be completely Honest and Fair, there is a "Little" Hypocrisy in my irritation with her Infidelity since I was shagging her when she was still married to her previous spouse (who I knew before I met her). Of course, he WAS as Big an A-Hole that a lot of people think I am so he deserved it.

Thanks, But ...............

Having lived it, it just wasn't that Funny.

Mostly Black Humor.

The Irony was that I finally met her because I was "dating" her sister who turned out to be a REALLY nice person, married another of my friends at the Beach and they lived (apparently) happily for the rest of her life.

Which ended with a Stroke in her late 50s.

Life IS uncertain.
