How would you preface a statement that is obvious.?

I am looking for a phrase that may be similar to 'I need to get this off my chest.,' or "I need to dump my bucket.'

You know what I mean? A preface to saying something that is obvious, but just needs saying...

I appreciate any examples you may have.

Please...sit down. There's something I have to say.

That will raise anybody's blood pressure by thirty points.

You're dead, CP.

Yikes! Dennis and gnukid responded to me. If I had to choose two Nomads for whom I may have formed big opinions about over years of reading the forums and those opinions being quite polarized, well heck if it would not be Dennis and gnukid. Just a coincidence I guess.

But with respect to the both of you, I do appreciate your comments.:D

starting off with Quiero decirte algo...usually gets their attention and means that you are going to say something important or make a point.

Tengo que decirte/decirle algo...

The choice between decirte/decirle makes a big difference, depending on how familiar you are with this person.

p.durazo...mi amigo/a....you're grave digging with these old threads. We're a progressive community and move forward like the Pacific Wind. You response in this thread falls on deaf eyes.

My suggestion to you, since we all value your participation, is to click on TODAY'S POSTS above and bookmark what comes up. By doing that, you will see the latest post in all forums as they are posted. Kinda like keeping up with the tempo of the site as it happens.
Look forward to your further participation. Thanks

Don't you ever watch Jerry Springer? You always start out with "You know I love you, right?".......
