Flights to Cabo from TJ

We have some friends who want to take us down to their home in Punta Pescadero in March. Initial searches find that Volarus airlines is pretty much booked from Cabo for our return flight home on a Sunday. Are there other airlines that fly into Cabo? How about La Paz? Any information on cost/stops, days flying/etc would be appreciated. Is there a website to explore all the options. Thanks.

Jo,

I use Kayak to book flights/hotels.

Let me know if you find a flight that suits your needs.

Monday, Friday and Sunday are almost always the most difficult because of weekend getaways and the Time share business. When you say "pretty much" are you really saying the available seats are expensive? You can almost always find the lowest fares on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

That said, March is in the high season for Cabo. Guess you don't have the time, or maybe the inclination to drive? Just asking because Punta Pescadero, a beautiful place I love, is not exactly close to either SJD or LAP.

I would love to drive, but the others in my group are not as adventuresome (adventurous) (adventurelike)???? We may have to leave out of SD, fly to LA, and then down to Cabo. I did find a flight leaving TJ with a 4 hour wait in Mexico City and a return flight with a 7 hour wait in Mexico City. YIKES!!!!

You're right, that return on the 13th doesn't look like its available on Volaris either from SJD or La Paz. About the best I see for those dates is to fly Alaska Air from San Diego. Non stop, rt fare about $437. You could save about $75 by flying Volaris down from TJ, then back to San Diego on Alaska. You could save a good chunk if you can shift your dates to avoid the 13th.
