All thanks to David K for his patience is helping me learn to post a photo. My wife and I have many photos of Baja birds, many seldom seen species. If I don't forget how I will post one from time to time with a bit of a discription.

Over time, I hope you post them ALL and all with a description---would love it! :yes::yes:

Right now I would suggest you post a couple for practice so you remember how to do it----then it will be really easy from then on.

I also suggest that you use either photoshop or another program to resize the photos is you are using photobucket---their resizer is not very good----and your photo is very good.

This is a common ground dove. The sun setting behind me and the sea behind the bird really brought out the colors for this photo.

Welcome Ollie. We love birds and have a few dozen in cages or the aviary- from parrots to Kestrels. Glad you figured out the photo posting system. I still struggle with that. Did you use downsize high-res (4MB+) photos or switch your camera to a lower resolution?

You did great, 'way to go Parnelli'!... and remember with Photobucket you can put MANY photos in a post.. and type in captions between each photo...You can double space the photo links so there is a gap between them, as well.

Congratulations!:light::cool:
