Baja Sur's own!
This little beauty is the only hummingbird endemic to Baja Sur.
The Xantus's Hummingbird says thank you by singing a little tune when it leaves the feeder. Sounds something like.......well maybe you can tell me?

I spent two days at the Asa Wright center in Trinidad. I am not a bird watcher but I did get a kick out of watching a whole bunch of Hummingbirds one
day while sitting on the veranda. I was actually hoping to see a nice Double Breasted Mattress Thrasher but no luck.

Yeah with all the whales in migratory mode maybe you'll see a double humped sperm whale

Great shot!! Mrsfish took a ton of photos of these at La Trinidad RV Park in La Ribera. Great spot for watching these hummers.

Of all birds, the hummers most always steal the show.
