Loose rear passanger shck bolt. '85 Plymouth Van


This is my Baja Baby...I've put more than 45,000 miles on the peninsula I have tried all I know...but the bolt loosens after 300 miles or so...any ideas????It's lower left passenger rear shock..Different lock washers????Lock tight on threads??? Hassle...but constant maint....Thanks...Lalo:?::?::?:

My guess is that the bolt goes through the shock mount, then the shock and then threads into a fixed threaded boss on the other side. If so, you might consider replacing the bolt with on that is longer and will allow you to thread a lock nut onto the other side. If there is no room for the extra lock bolt, you might be stuck with just applying loctite (use the RED color for strongest bond).
