Little Blue Bird ID please- sorry no photo

I could not find this bird in my Birds of NA.
It was brilliant blue with black markings. No other color but this incredible deep blue. Looked like the size and shape of a House Finch.
Never saw anything like it until this morning here in San Juanico.

Anybody know what it is called?

Could it be this bird? If you click on the view dynamic map of ebird sightings, it's rare but has been spotted in Baja. I looked around on that website and you might try too. This was what I thought sounded the closest to your description.

Looking at a couple of websites for the where and what of Indigo Bunting, seems I sure got lucky seeing one in my yard this morning!
Wish I could have gotten a photo as it did not look quite like the ones on the websites, but close enough and not much more in blue to choose from.
Thanks for the name. And neat website www.allaboutbirds.

It's such a pretty bird I thought I'd put the pic here so everyone could see. Great that you saw him, CP!!
