Whale Shark - And ultra-light tackle

Yup..that's right....whale sharks and ultra-light tackle.

Our recent whale shark visitor to The Bay is getting a lot of respectful attention.

All the various sightseers that I have noticed have been very cautious and mindful of the whale shark's well-being.

Especially these kayakers from the last couple days. They made a nice photo-op for me on thier look-see in Coyote Bay. Bravo, paddlers. I hope you were able to view the behemoth.

Ultra Light Tackle:

Notice all those baitfish boils in the Bay? It's always that way this time of year...so get out there and enjoy it.

Here's a tip... for a fun thing to do for making some dinner fillets. Fishing from those kayaks...take a small silver spoon attached to an ultra-light spinning rod/reel with 4 lb. test...and have a ball casting to the predator fish below those boils. Woo-hoo!!.. as shari would say!

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.
