On Occasion

As one may occasionally do

I came upon this one

Opening a shed.

With 'im watching me

And playing dried up dead . . .

I shot & focused

Before I made him move.

With a nomad shot

I buckled the lock, and

Stuffed the key in my pocket.

I still shake my boots . . .

On occasion.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
