Having pigs at my dinner table

I know! The pics are big....will revise this soon today. Sorry folks.

Blowin Smoke BBQ and Grill
Carretera Federal 5, Baja California, Mexico.

Just South of Pete's Camp entry road - east side of highway..
About 1/4 mile NORTH the Crocodile bill board.
Burnt orange building.

Paste this into Google maps for exact location 31.130409,-114.905988

Lee...what a guy. He's that type that is everybody's buddy...just like BajaLou is. No grind to his smile....happy happy joy joy. Come on Lee...frown once will ya?

Walked into his restaurant...and it looked like Happy Hour galore. The place is full at 530 p.m. Loud laughter. ......and booze! Hell....the man has a full bar in that joint. Being a ex Night Club owner that knows liquor brand names....he had all good stuff. Jack D's to Tanqueray, I think it was. No cheap stuff like I used to push :o

Given an tour to his smokers that were in the far room, We (young Nicky) had to pass through the kitchen. Everything was new (?). I I ask Lee how long he has been in business....3 years! I tell you....I love a clean kitchen. Not even grease build up in the corners.

Smokers were indeed impressive. Lee hand made these babies by himself. His prior life was in the petro fields in the Bakersfield area. Jack of all trades I take it.

Okay...now about the food.
I am so sick and tired of my pork meat falling off the bones like molasses. Mussy. Tasteless. Dry. Dog pile!

Lee hit's it on the nose!!!!!!! Firm. Moist. Mouth watering taste. He's da man of BBQ in my books. Good amount of ribs were thrown onto my plate.....with slaw on the side. Mustard dressing coleslaw....that itself was a kicker. Ate the very last shred of that too. Did I say beans? He throws a scoop of beans on the plate too. The beans were okay....nothing to write home about.

Big plus....ice cold sodas. I must have ice cold....not warm. Lee hit this on the nose too.

If you want some American style cooking....go to this place.

Deno, we do offer Beef Ribs (ribs from the standing rib roast or as some call prime rib) when available. Strange, but hard to get from supplier.
Thanks for asking!
Hope all is well with you and family.
Lee and Linda.

Nomad comp c-cktail ? Hey! Hey! Lee....where the hell was my free Nomad comp c-cktail? ;)

I like the joint a lot. We'll be eating there many more times.

You should pass your bean receipt to Lee :-) Then I'll eat there every night.

Give Connie my regards. Deno

And to Mr Taormina, you just bring it on. We are looking forward to some "friendly" competition and your next visit.
