Dental Implant

I live in Los Barriles and I need to have a couple of implants. Has any of you out there in Nomad land had a implant done in the San Jose or Cabo area? Can you give me any recommendations? I have a very limited ability to converse in spanish so I will need a dentist who speaks english. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is an excellent oral surgeon in La Paz. He did an emergency extraction for me and an implant for my husband (another dentist did the crown) I don't remember the price, but I do remember we were pleasantly surprised. His English is just fine for understanding what your needs are and he gave us a very thorough explanation,
(complete with illustrated text from US seminars he had attended)
to explain every step of the process for the implant.

If you can't find a solution closer to you and want his name, let me know.

Since you live in Los Barriles, you'd be better off coming to La Paz for dental work. I've known dentists with offices in La Paz and Los Cabos and they've told me things--such as rent--tend to be more in Los Cabos, so they charge more for the same service.
