That's kinda weird.

Last year I paid $48.20 at Squidco for my yearly license.

It expires on 6-24-11.

That is indeed strange, Paulina. Tell you what...I'll be able to check both places and fees personally in about a week or so and post it back here. Will also compare to a few others...Fisherman's Landing, etc.

The good thing about getting it online, is that you can reprint it as needed! We know that nobody misplaces theirs except me. I keep it on gmail and can download and print a copy any where.

That is $ 45.85 for 541 pesos and the license money stays in town, while the internet license money goes to Mexico city as far as I understand it. So I buy mine in Loreto where I like to fish.

I bought my last one in Loreto at the Pesca office at the marina last October. It was $533 or roughly $45 at the time.

Loreto fishing license office 12-1-2009

Nomad Bill Erhardt of Loreto was kind enough to show us where to buy licenses back in '09. And then we went to a great lunch.

I seem to remember we paid the same yearly fee as the above posts relate...about $45 USD...not bad at all. Gracias, Bill.

When we got back to Mulege we had them laminated/water-proofed at the stationary store.

You'll find that a hard thing to do. Just order on line. Fast and easy.
