Ken, Thanks Amigo I appreciate your help in getting my pics up for others to see. This lets those that have not traveled this toll road to see just
how the roadway curves and twists down to Mexicali from Tecate and Rumorosa area. I just have fits trying to post pics, as most of my pics are on
folders in my computer but I will learn photobucket,LOL Take Care & Travel Safe "No Hurry, No Worry, Just FUN"

The pic with the blue pipe going along the mountain edge is water being pumped from Mexicali area to the rest of Baja coastal cities from the Colorado
River allocation, which Mexico gets from the USA by Treaty.
A number of years back this pipe burst and the water was under such pressure it shot up so high from the old 98 road facing Mt. Signal you could see
it clear as day. It took several days for them to get it back under control and stopped. Take Care & Travel Safe

Forget Photobucket and use Facebook. It's free and easy!
My Wife and all of her Amigas would be lost with Photobucket, but with Facebook, they post photos daily.

and how do you find the photos a few days, weeks or months later on Facebook... small photos at that? I guess I just don't understand the appeal of
Facebook... I am on it, but for family mostly... I hate trying to find old posts on it... impossible comes to mind.

Fabulous Pics!
Back in 1983, my boyfriend took me on a trip through the California desert in the Mojave (the XP planes at the airbase, the burros hauling borax), the
Salton Sea and then we went from Tijuana through La Rumorosa to Mexicali.
Funny and true, after being exposed to all the desert landscapes and seeing the many cars that had cascaded down the cliff sides of the road, what
really scared me was opening the door to the balcony of our hotel in Mexicali and realizing that the floor and balcony railing were roughly finished
and uneven.
Yeah, I was really naive and young.
