a FIRE in La Bocana

Yesterday, some little ones who were going by our property on a quad called out to us that they could see smoke coming from the Osprey nest right, located at the top of the pole close to our house ...

:o:o:o

being that La Bocana does not own a fire truck - it was very distressing to watch. I immediately called the power company. Three hours later they showed up (they have to come from Bahia Asuncion) ...Just as we heard a huge bang and the lights went out all over town !!!

It was 9 PM, our B & B was packed, so we all went outside to watch the guys work and to observe the fantastic night sky. All's well that ends well ....

the birds were fine being that the little one had flown the coop about a month ago .... but they were screaming up a storm that evening as they got close to their ex-nest. They have an old one which is close by, which they had abandoned this year in lieu of this one. So, they have simply gone back to the "old" one ....and we still get to watch them. One of our daily activites, sor sure ...

Their "flightpath" has changed and now we get the outcome of their income right on our little tracker

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

@ soupatch: come on down !!!!!
