interesting that so many visitors to the island are stopping to photograph the same fish carcass. That must be a very exciting dead fish!

A lot of visitors came for the dead fish and beer at Percebu's Poker Run this year also. This was earlier in the day. It was much more crowded later.

That's what happened to me and my daughter last year's memorial w/e. We were in line with the next 5 vehicles in front, and sorry it's 11 o'clock, come back at 5 am. We spent the night in line, but it wasn't bad because we were in our self- contained motorhome.

What's with the night driving? :(

Life is short, so much Baja... so little time!

Have you seen my lights? Night?.. I don't see no stinkin' night!

Works for me... nice set up... must "light it up" just fine...

On the light bar are a pair of Kragen HID driving beams ('euro' beams) and a pair of Hella 4000 100 watt halogen pencil (spot) beams.

I remember a few of those all-nighters driving down to the Sisters or Abreojos...but I don't trust my ability to stay awake that long anymore!

Fortunetly, Shell Island is only 300 miles (6 hours) from here and while we normally wouldn't drive at night, we wanted the kids (Kristi's first time there) to have as much time on the beach as possible. I was pretty zonked on Saturday (as Baja Warrior and BajaRob could testify to)... but an afternoon nap made it all good.
