Mediterranean Fish Soup Recipe

Here is a wonderful fish soup recipe I've modified a few times to my taste buds and to what I caught or had leftover in the frig. The orange juice and black olives make it a different kind of soup. So the next time you catch a few extra fish and want to have a party try this recipe. Both the fish stock and basic mediterranean soup recipe freezes well. Just add the fresh fish and shrimp after thawing and reheat. Instead of repeating a recipe I already posted on BDs I'll give you a link to it below. The recipes are on the 2nd page.

I thought about you guys living in San Quintin when I posted this recipe. I can just imagine how much better it would be with fresh large pismo clams & their juice, local grown vegetables and a squeeze of lime at the table. Next time I go fishing out of the Old Mill will definately make this soup for the camp. I'll call it "San Quintin Fish Chowder" made with San Martin Is rockfish. You guys have the best tasting rockfish on the planet. That cold water has its advantages, i.e. the colder the water the more fat (omega III) in the meat.
