Serial killer could be lurking in Mexicali

Yuma, AZ-In less than three years, four women have been found mutilated south of the border.
All of them had similar characteristics.
"All of the women were of robust complexion, they were all between 30 to 40 years old and all off them worked as sex workers in the downtown area,"
said Marco Vinizio Blanco, spokesman for Baja California's State Attorney General's Office.
Authorities believe it's the work of a serial killer.
"We strongly believe our theory that it's a single person familiar with knives, someone who works with animals and has the skill of a butcher," Blanco
said.
The first victim was identified as 42-year-old Maria Dolores Nuno.
Her body was discovered on September 19th of 2009 in Callejon Nayarit.
Nuno's torso was found in black plastic bags.
Two days later investigators found the rest of the body parts at Rio Nuevo, an area very close to the U.S. Mexico border.
The next month of that same year, a victim identified as Guadalupe Beltran Olmos was found in Rio Nuevo as well.
Last year in October a third victim was also killed the same way.
The latest victim, who is yet to be identified by authorities was found in a garbage land fill at Ejido Hipolito Renteria.
"We believe these women were picked up from the same person in the area where they all worked....in the city's downtown central area," Blanco said.
Authorities said they have increased security in Mexicali's downtown area and continue to look for leads.

Similar activities were happening ten years ago and previously, near Vancouver, B.C. and a pig farmer named Picton was convicted of many murders of
lady street workers, and its thought that several more could have been pinned on him, with the trial going on for months. Forensic crews went through
the farmland with fine-toothed combs, finding evidence at every turn.
It was said that many were swearing to put off eating pork for life!

Mexicali searches for serial killer of prostitutes

MEXICALI — With details that echo Jack the Ripper, Mexicali officials are investigating a possible serial killer or killers targeting area prostitutes
for years.
About 44 murders of women here since 2008 appear to have enough similarities to potentially be the result of a serial killer or killers, said Alfredo
Arenas Moreno, Baja California Estate Police chief officer in charge of the international liaison unit.
While the Baja California Attorney General’s Office here is officially in charge of the investigation, updates on the investigation are regularly
provided to police.
While not official, there is a line of investigation that’s following the murders as a result of either a serial killer or three serial killers that
are likely family members, Moreno explained. Only two of the 44 murders were not prostitutes or drug users.
“They target these women when they come out late at night from the bars that they’re working. They pick them up and they murder them,” Moreno said.
“In some cases, they dismember them and throw them in some canal or some abandoned lot. They’re still investigating if there is a serial killer or
not. It’s not confirmed.”
The attorney general said in a report that since 2009, three women’s bodies have been found dismembered here, including one this year.
Moreno said to his knowledge, there has never been a serial killer here. Also, serial killing in Mexico is generally confused with organized crime.
“The attorney general is trying to clear up that smoke that these murders are not organized crime, drug-related, and it is some sort of crazy person
or persons targeting this type of women,” he said.
Few details of the murders or profile information on the possible killer or killers have been released due to the ongoing investigation and the threat
of copycats.
A couple of months ago, local Mexico media began widely reporting on the issue.
“The people in Mexicali are very calm about this, because again, it’s being targeted to one sector of the population only, and the women that are in
that sector of the population are being alerted to keep an eye out and watch out for themselves and try to be safe and not walk around the city late
at night by themselves because of this situation,” Moreno said.
He added that women going to nightclubs here should be extra careful and not go alone.
Baja California State Assemblyman Francisco Javier Sánchez Corona, PRD-Ensenada, recently announced that there will be meetings with Mexicali
prostitutes to discuss possible ways to increase their security while working.
A prostitute identified as “Aileen” said that she heard the killer offers women more than their asking prices in order to lure them to go to a second
location.
Area prostitutes are scared and changing the way they work in response to the murders.
“We don’t leave the hotel. We don’t work outside the hotel,” she said in Spanish. “We only work with clients that come to the hotel.”
Another prostitute, identified as “Guadalupe,” said all prostitutes try to take cell phone camera photos of customer’s license plates when someone
leaves with them for their own safety. One of the women murdered was her friend, and she began crying as she described the loss.
“She had a horrible death. It’s very painful for me because she didn’t have anyone except for her son,” Guadalupe said in Spanish. “She didn’t have
anyone from her family. They cut her into 45 little pieces. They tortured her, and I loved her very much. I hope justice is done. This can’t stay this
way.”

Only one ... that should be seen as good news...
As most of the other on how women are treated in Mexico is a bit sad...
Believe they had to set up a "dual" bus system in Mexico City some time ago... due to continued and aggressive "groping" of the women passengers...
(they, the women started carrying LARGE hat pins in defense ... nothing wrong with a little self defense girls)
Another blurb, I recall... was something to the effect there is ongoing "Femicide" ... seems that was from International Human Rights Report, from
Amnesty International (yeah I know) but, the report is by an editor from Frontera NorteSur ..

Only one should be good news Wesson? So Wesson you're saying it's good news the serial killer(s) is only targeting Mexican prostitutes in Mexicali!
Wow because of that attitude it's often the reason why these serial killers get away with these types of killing so often in both the US and Mexico.
And unrelated Wesson you seem to indict the whole country of Mexico over their treatment of women because a few Mexican men on crowded buses had
taken advantage of the tight situation and engaged in in groping and machismo type behavior of crowded buses in the heavy used buses in Mexico city.
If I recall a few weeks ago in the "El Mexicano" the authorities had three Mexican brothers they suspected as being the serial killers and arrests
were imminent? I wonder what happened? If I recall the different articles said, the serial killer suspects were raised by a mother who was also a
Mexican prostitute who was killed in her line of work some time ago, and that her boys were sexually abused by a relative the "sex worker" mother
left the boys with while she was out working in a bar.
If true growing up in that type of hostile dysfunctional environment certainly sounds like a serial killer would have this type of psychology profile
and have a lot of sick rage.
I also recall the "sex worker" victims posted classified sex ads and the serial killer(s) answered those ads, and then later killed and tortured his
victims with the skill of a butcher!

Sarcasm is a tool which may be used to draw more attention to the subject... sorry it's always lost on you... amazing as a matter of fact....
It's not ME that's doing the inditement of men's actions on buses.. rather the women of Mexico and many government folks too along with International
Human Rights groups ... or are you denying this has actually has NOT taken place in Mexico..
Or perhaps it that racist group of Gringo's down in Mexico.. doing these women in.. at a rather staggering rate...
Would imagine there are multiple reasons, one would target women to kill, in MEXICO ....

You might want to say within your three talking points... racism, bigotry and intolerance... as you not making sound points here... about the
existence of a fact which is occurring in Mexico as I type... that would be "Femicide" or are you disputing the reports out on this subject over the
past few years...
