Thanks. I have Viva Mexico which I believe is the mexican addon that you are referring to. 1400 minutes for about $110/mo covers calls into and out of mexico and of course calls within Mexico. Thanks Ron

I have permanent international roam with AT&T. I think Movistar picks up the signal in Mulege. No Probelmo. Also used it all over the far east.

my daughter got us this plan

she pays $80 a month
the one with 700 minutes for 3 phones

but...it only works where there is a cell
so you need to be in town

AT&T "Go Phone", (pay as you go) works, too. No plan, no sign up or add-on, 25 cents/minute. It just works.
