Marketing all right, but still nice to see hotels opening up for dog-lovers. And if they care about it, (the dog-owners) they clean up. No problema!

Actually, since business is substantially down in the area, this newcomer seems to be pulling out all the stops. Not often that a resort that claims to be luxe, would be advertising to pet owners.

If memory serves me, this property was once owned by the Parr family that operated a number of hotel properties from back in the day. The site of their landmark Hotel Hacienda has since become a midrise monstrosity.

The location of this Casa Dorada is on a piece of land just a bit to the East of the old Hacienda Hotel that had been vacant land for decades.
