Yes, isn't it amazing what can be accomplished by diverting a few trout streams that flow all around Gonzaga and putting all that fresh water to good use. It was inevitable, of course, and the ol desert landscape of our memories is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.

Don't laugh. In China last october the only decent meal I had outside of the major cities was in a McDonalds. They seemed to pop up in the nick of time. Pretty good cheeseburgers too!! You have to be there to understand; it's not San Francisco!
