storm at playa el burro

We had no notice on this one. One minute no clouds, next minute winds that blew a 20x20 oriental rug a mile out to sea!! We rushed to put plywood over the windows and settled in to wait out the torrential rain and wind!!

The captain of this sailboat was really happy when this storm ended about 2 hours after it started. This picture was taken from our palapa at El Burro on Aug 18th, 2011.

eebmike.com altho not talked about and often does not turn into a land driven Chubasco, it was on the satellite! Keep your eyes open for the rug to be returned upon your shore. Tio
