I wonder if they'll post the problem so the holiday weekenders will be aware of it, or is it assumed everybody should, or does read the El Mexicano.

El Vigia this morning:
Red alert
The most popular beaches in Ensenada are contaminated by leaking sewage treatment plant of El Naranjo

Problem: Failure to sewage treatment plant
Effects: Caen to the sea 500 liters per second of wastewater for several hours
Risk: Exposure to this mixture of sea water causes stomach ailments, skin and eyes
Prevention: Avoid entering the sea until the authorities to verify that there is no risk to health

edit...these sewage leaks seem to occur regularly. My degree is not in wastewater management. But, 500L/sec? Wowzers.

This problem isn't a system malfunction. There was a poison dumped in the waste-water that made it's way to the ocean. They are going to fix this through educating people and businesses about what to put in the sewer, good luck to them on that.
