a Very Fishy Week in Bahia Asuncion

the fishing has been outstanding for the last couple weeks and just gets better and better. The calico & yellowtail bite is wide open on the troll with mackeral type rapallas or mirrolures all over the area with schools in the 15-23 pound range. Bigger yellowtail are showing in San Pablo jigging but everyone is coming in with their limits in YT, calico and big bonita. Conditions are pretty good, the swell is coming down a bit now and water is clearing up.

Here are some pals from San Felipe who were super happy with their catch and fishing experience with Juan.

Our helper Juan Carlos...who is famous for weilding a sharp knife...has the fillets flying for these guys. They smoked up lots of bonita...came out reel nice!

many thanks to nomads surfdoc & bajafam Lionel for their assistance at the ramp....you guys rock!
