Sunrise dilema

all I wanted to do was post a pic or two of the sunrise and just couldn't decide which to use...here is a little series of this morning's event before the parade.

It started out like this

Very nice Shari! I'm sure you've lightened the load on so many concerned about Ron and his family. These sunrise shots give me such a good feeling about the day ahead. Tankx

I saw the sun was coming up behind that big cloud over Chivato...the guy on the beach was scouting for pismos...Surfdoc's usually up and about at the crack of 10!!!

I was up early to go to the parade and enjoyed a different perspective of the sunrise this morning from the beach house balcony.

Sheri,
That sunrise is just the cosmos thanking you for all you do. Glad you were able to enjoy it and share with us.
Thank you, for all the ways you make the world a better place.

The first is my favorite. Has a fine spiritual side to it. You can read so much into that small figure.

Next comes the 3rd image. I like the light on the bottom of the clouds.

The other 2 are less interesting.

SUNRISE AND A POEM...GOOD WAY FOR ME TO START THE DAY.

Shari...thought-provoking sunrises ...many thanks for sharing them.

Sunrise best wishes for our amigos, Ron & Cristina...and all of you.

SUNRISE

In the still
you hear the echo
of past laughter,
the swell of
happy memories
lifts you as you
swoop through
valleys of tears
and rise
with new hope
to glimpse
the sun rise

I like the first shoot a lot. It shows the grandeur of the natural world and the insignificance of man in the big picture.

In MKP speak...

Welcome the energy of the east, the direction of the lover. Welcome the energy of new beginnings, of connection with beauty and the richness of the world. The color of the east is yellow. The desire of the east is for pleasure, and the emotions are of love and hatred. The animal of the east is the song sparrow, calling us to a new day. We welcome the energies and spirit of the east.
